Peek dedicated email device sneaks into Target stores

News by Ricky Cadden on Friday August 22, 2008.

The Peek wireless email device is a simple gadget that allows you to connect to up to 3 existing email accounts. A landscape oriented 2.5" QVGA (320x240 pixel) display should make mobile email easy to read, and the Peek has a QWERTY keyboard for easy text input.

The Peek should be a very pocketable device, too, since it supposedly measures only 102mm x 68mm x 10.6mm (4" x 2.7" x .4") in size and weighs in at 109g (3.8oz). The Peek will be available in your choice of Charcoal Gray, Aqua Blue, or Black Cherry color schemes.

The Peek email device is set to be available on September 14th through Target stores. Pricing is $99.95 for the email device itself, and requires a $19.95 monthly service fee, which will enable unlimited email reading and writing on up to 3 accounts. There is no contract required with the Peek email device.
