HTC Dream passes through FCC with T-Mobile 3G
News by Ricky Cadden on Monday August 18, 2008.
HTC Dream from FCC docs
The HTC Dream has officially gained a thumbs up from the FCC, an act that brings its official announcement ever closer. The HTC Dream is confirmed as supporting T-Mobile's 3G network, which is already live in a couple of cities. This smartphone is expected to be the first Google Android smartphone OS based device to hit the market.
Not much can be said for certain based on these FCC documents, but we can confirm that the HTC Dream will have WiFi and Bluetooth on board. Navigation apparently will be handled by a jogball, likely similar to that on the BlackBerry Pearl. You can check through the FCC documents here. [via: Engadget.]
