Samsung's TouchWiz SGH-F480 Launches in Europe Soon

Product Launch by Ricky Cadden on Thursday May 22, 2008.

The SGH-F480, Samsung's hot new touchscreen device with the TouchWiz user interface, will begin shipping in Europe in June 2008, with other regions to follow. This sleek handset is heavy on style and features, with a 5 megapixel camera that sports image stabilization and auto-focus.

The F480 uses Samsung's custom TouchWiz touchscreen user interface that allows consumers to use widgets to customize the standby screen, and its haptic feedback offers a reassuring experience. The handset is nearly the same size as a regular credit card, measuring in at 95.9mm x 55mm x 11.5mm (3.8" x 2.2" x .5") and weighs only 10.6g (3.5oz).

Aside from the camera, the Samsung F480 offers a bevy of multimedia features, including 232MB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for even more space. The music player supports podcasts, and there is an FM radio and support for stereo Bluetooth headsets as well.

The phone is cool. The camera function is awesome and the music player is great on volume. I love the expandable memory, as well.

What I don't like about the phone: I can't access the Internet, I have no/poor reception in my house, I can't change the messaging tones (as I was able to on the three previous Samsungs I've owned), and it doesn't have the virtual keyboard (like the iPhone).

If anyone can help me with being able to actually use this phone, PLEASE HELP MEEEEE!!!
