HP iPAQ 900 Series Slips through the FCC

News by Ricky Cadden on Friday April 18, 2008.

HP's latest foray into the smartphone market, the iPAQ 900 series, has slipped through the FCC, packing dual-band HSDPA (850/1900MHz), which points towards AT&T being a possible carrier. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-powered smartphone offers a QWERTY keyboard for convenient text entry, as well as Google Maps Mobile and Google Search pre-loaded.

A full office suite, including mobile versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and OneNote is included, as well as built-in WiFi. A microSD card slot is available for expanded memory, as well as a 3 megapixel camera with flash.

You can peruse the FCC filing here.
