AT&T Offers Flexible Early Termination Fees to Customers

U.S. wireless carrier AT&T announced new ETF's (early termination fees) for its new and renewing customers recently. Starting on May 25, the carrier will no longer require customers to pay one flat ETF when agreeing to one or two year service agreements.
The AT&T early termination fee, which is US$175, will be now be lowered by US$5 per month for the duration of the customer's contract. This new ETF structure does not apply to anyone who enters into a contract prior to May 25.
