Samsung Shows SGH-P960 DVB-H TV Phone at Mobile World Congress

Product Launch by Michelle Ruhfass on Thursday February 14, 2008.

This week at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona, Samsung showed a new ultra sleek slider, the SGH-P960. The new 16.5mm thick handset is decked out in silver and black accents and sports a large 2.6" QVGA (240x320 pixel) TFT LCD display, which should come in handy since the P960 has full DVB-H TV and other audio/video capabilities.

This multimedia handset features quad-band GSM/EDGE (900/1800/1900MHz) and UMTS/HSDPA 2100MHz as well Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Other goodies include a full web browser, FM radio with RDS, and an on-board 3 megapixel camera.

Samsung has not given any information on pricing or when the P960 will show up on retail shelves.
