Good news for would be and existing Alltel subscribers. Alltel has announced that its My Circle calling feature is expanding to allow calling circles of 5, 10, or 20 numbers. Previously the My Circle plans allowed Alltel customers to pre-select any 10 numbers for unlimited free calling.
In the nearly two years since its introduction, the feature was only available to Alltel subscribers with rate plans of $59.99 or higher. With the new expansion, the carrier has lowered the bar of entry for My Circle. A rate plan of $49.99 or higher offers My Circle 5, which allows subscribers to add 5 numbers to their free calling list. As before, My Circle 10 will continue to be available with rate plans of $59.99 or higher. The expansion continues on the top end by offering My Circle 20 to subscribers with rate plans of $99.99 or higher, which allows free calling groups of up to 20 numbers from any network.
As before, in-network calls remain free. Further information on the expanded My Circle plan can be found on Alltel's website.
