BlueAnt Reveals New Bluetooth Stereo Speakers and Speakerphone at CES

News by Ricky Cadden on Saturday January 05, 2008.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, BlueAnt announced a couple of new Bluetooth accessories. The new products include the M1 Stereo Speakers, the SuperTooth 3 Speakerphone, and the V1 voice-controlled headset, previously covered here at MobileBurn. All three should be available during Spring 2008.

The M1 stereo speakers feature A2DP for wireless stereo sound, in addition to a 3.5mm audio input for non-Bluetooth music players. The M1 is portable, measuring just 315mm x 89mm x 88mm (12.4" x 3.5" x 3.4") and powered by a rechargeable battery pack. The M1 sports output at a whopping 28 watts RMS and at medium volume can pump out the tunes for up to 10 hours.

The SuperTooth 3 speakerphone works on your desk or can be conveniently clipped onto your car's sun visor for extreme portability, similar to BlueAnt's previous speakerphones reviewed here at MobileBurn. The SuperTooth 3 uses a DSP for noise and echo cancellation, stores pairing information for up to 8 different phones, and should be good for up to 15 hours of talk time.
