Product Launch by Ricky Cadden on Wednesday October 03, 2007.

Verizon Wireless unveiled the LG Venus (VX8800) today, an innovative slider phone with two screens on the front. The top screen is a standard phone display, while the bottom is a touchscreen with haptic feedback, offering a small vibration when an on-screen button is touched. The LG Venus also features a microSD card slot, capable of supporting capacities up to 8GB. The music player on the LG Venus supports .MP3, .WMA, and unprotected .AAC music files.

The LG Venus also features a 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture. With EV-DO data support, the LG Venus is capable of supporting Verizon's Get It Now download service, as well as V CAST video and music. The LG Venus will be in stores by the end of November and will be available in pink and black.
