Nokia's N-Gage Plaform for S60 Gains Support

News by Michael Oryl on Tuesday August 28, 2007.

Today Nokia issued a press release stating that Vivendi Games Mobile would publish a version of its Crash Bandicoot game for Nokia's new N-Gage platform that will run on many of Nokia's S60 devices. A similar press release yesterday indicated that Capcom, too, would be supporting Nokia's new N-Gage platform.

According to the press releases, Nokia N-Gage titles will play on certain Nseries and other S60 3rd Edition smartphones. While Nokia has yet to discuss details, a press event being held in London this week is expected to provide further information on the N-Gage platform as well as launch a few new handsets, such as the 8GB N81 that was leaked by the FCC last week and is mentioned in a NY Times article published yesterday.
