Samsung SGH-F210 Thin Spinner Music Phone

Product Launch by Brad Kellett on Wednesday June 20, 2007.

Samsung has debuted a new music phone from CommunicAsia 2007 in Singapore this week, the SGH-F210. This small device carries the narrow spinner design seen on select other Samsung models for the Asian market, and when closed looks far more like an MP3 player than other music phones.

The SGH-F210 from Samsung measures up at mere 87.7mm x 30.9mm x 20.4mm (3.45" x 1.22" x 0.80"), but still manages to pack 1GB of internal memory plus a microSD memory card slot. With the ability to play MP3/AAC/AAC+/eAAC+/WMA format music, the device includes a 3D sound effect for songs and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo headset capability for wireless listening.

Other multimedia functions are also taken care of, including a 2.0MP camera and 1.46" 262k color TFT LCD display that offers 128x220 pixel resolution. The handset is a GSM/GPRS device that supports the 900/1800/1900MHz frequency bands.

No specifics on regional availability have been provided thus far, though it is safe to assume a European and/or Asian release in the not too distant future.
