Nokia Unveils Gold Plated 8800 Sirocco

Product Launch by Michael Oryl on Monday April 16, 2007.

If the Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition's monochromatic color choices of black and sliver didn't offer enough bling-effect for your 1000 Euros, then Nokia just announced something that might yet get your attention: the 8800 Sirocco Gold.

Basically, they took a regular 8800 Sirocco, if you can use such a term for such a phone, and plated it with real 18 carat gold. It also features a number of white gold plated accents and the same 262k color, sapphire coated color LCD display and 2 megapixel camera of the other Siroccos. Nokia ships the Sirocco Gold with a matching color desk stand and a color-matching Bluetooth headset included in the box.

The Sirocco Gold is available now in select markets for 1000EUR.
