Today Nokia announced the immediate availability of an update to their 8800 flagship fashion handset, the 8800 Sirocco Edition. While the company has not provided many details on the device so far, we can tell you that it sports a new 2 megapixel digital camera and extended battery life.
The new 8800 appears to make use of the same 262k color display with a hardened glass surface as did the prior model, and is also made of stainless steel like the original 8800. The shape of the slider's stainless cover has been changed a bit, though, to provide slightly better ergonomics and improved style.
The 8800 Sirocco Edition retails for a suggested 1000EUR price that includes a Bluetooth headset. It is available now in select markets.
We'll provide more details when they become available.
