In what seems to be an effort to capture the slim slider market on carriers other than T-Mobile in the US, Samsung has announced the new D807 at the International CES today.

Sharing the same features as the T809 already available on T-Mobile, the 15.4mm (0.6") thick D807 comes with quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM compatibility, 1.3 megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot. The T809’s 262k color display is also included on the D807, and the handset also includes an MP3 player, speakerphone, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and MobiTV live television service.

While carrier availability has not been officially announced, it is expected that the Samsung D807 will be available on Cingular during Q2 this year.
