Sirius Satellite Radio Available on Sprint
News by Brad Kellett on Wednesday September 14, 2005.
Sprint has announced that it will be the first US carrier to provide Sirius Satellite radio to its customers.
The Sprint and Sirius partnership will give Sprint customers access to 20 commercial free music channels, plus a channel devoted to artist interviews and live performances. The channels provide a broad range of music genres; from 60s rock to Hip Hop. Sprint customers with VisionSM multimedia capable handsets can access the Sirius channels by typing channel 23 into the Sprint Media Player, or by selecting the new channel from the Music and Radio folder on their handsets.
Sirius radio over Sprint is available for $6.95USD per month for unlimited access.
