Of all the group messaging apps that have come out in the past year or so, GroupMe has become one of the most popular. Now Windows Phone 7 users can get in on the messaging fun.
GroupMe has announced that a "preview" version of its app for Windows Phone is now available for users to download. It doesn't feature all of the goodies that its iOS, BlackBerry, and Android cousins do, like photo sharing, but it does provide the ability to manage groups and carry on chat conversations with other users, regardless of what platform they are using.
Interested users can grab the GroupMe app for Windows Phone for free from the Windows Phone Marketplace now. [via Gizmodo]
