Navigation software provider TeleNav has issued an update to its GPS Plus app for the iPhone, and has cut the price in half for a limited time.
The new version of GPS Plus allows users to easily export their traveled miles for expense reporting or other needs. The app can output the data to an email or Excel. A Traffic Flow Indicator has been added to the navigation screen to give users an idea of what traffic patterns are ahead. Finally, the maps themselves have been updated and are easier to read than in previous versions.
Normally, the app costs $19.99 for a full year of service, but TeleNav is offering it for $9.99 for a limited time. Users can also purchase a 30-day trial for $0.99 if they wish. If the user does not upgrade to a paid service after 30 days, the app will still provide access to basic maps and non-voice guided directions. TeleNav GPS Plus is compatible with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. It is available now in the iTunes App Store.
