UK owners of Motorola's rough and ready DEFY smartphone rejoice, your phones are finally getting an update to Android 2.2 Froyo after languishing around with 2.1 Eclair for what seems like forever. T-Mobile USA customers have been enjoying the benefits of Froyo since April, but the update has just now crossed the pond to the UK. The update brings all of the usual niceties that come along with Android 2.2, including faster performance, the ability to move apps to the SD card, and Adobe Flash Player support. Users can head over to Motorola's support site to download the update now. Now users can move on to complaining about when the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update will arrive.
