ESPN has announced a new release of its WatchESPN app for iPad users so sports fans everywhere can keep up with their favorite games and scores when away from their TVs. The app offers live sports streaming directly to the tablet and includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, and ESPNU coverage. Availability for the live video is determined by local TV providers and internet providers. Currently Verizon FiOS TV and its high speed internet are supported as well as Bright House Networks and Time Warner Cable. The app is available free in Apple's App Store or iTunes.
