LG to build its own ARM based smartphone processors

LG has announced that it will license ARM processor technology for future smartphone and tablet devices. The Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A9 processors will be used in LG devices along with the Mali-T604 GPU. LG says that this agreement will allow the company to compete with other manufacturers who already have their own processor and GPU designs.
