One of the biggest weaknesses that we found with the HTC ThunderBolt in our full review was its sub-par battery life. Verizon Wireless already offers an extended battery to help rectify that, and it looks like the carrier is going to offer an inductive charging back to aid in frequent charging pit-stops.
Discovered on Verizon's website, but not yet available for purchase, the battery cover has a price tag of $39.99 associated with it. No word on what a receiver pad would cost for it, but if it is Qi compliant, it could work with LG's Wireless Charging Pad that was announced at CTIA or the Energizer Qi product we tested some time ago.
