Assurance Wireless has announced that it will bring its new free phone initiative, which includes 250 minutes of free service a month, to residents in Arkansas. The service, provided by Virgin Mobile, will give those in poverty-stricken areas of the state access to a mobile phone service at not cost to them. Customers can opt for more minutes or text messaging services for additional fees. Customers must pass low-income qualifications in order to receive the service. Assurance Wireless is now available in 23 states and Washington D.C. Interested customers may go to www.assurancewireless.com or call 1-800-395-2171 to apply for the service.source: Assurance Wireless
