After much waiting, many rumors, and much consternation by anxious customers, Verizon Wireless has made pricing and availability of the HTC ThunderBolt official.
The HTC ThunderBolt , Verizon's first 4G LTE phone to come to market, will be available at Verizon Wireless stores and online on March 17 for $249.99 on a new two-year agreement. The ThunderBolt will require a data package, on top of a regular voice plan, that will cost $29.99 a month. This will provide unlimited 4G and 3G data to the customer. Verizon Wireless is also offering free Mobile Hotspot on the ThunderBolt for connecting up to 8 Wi-Fi devices through May 15. After May 15, customers may choose to purchase 2 GB of data for Mobile Hotspot for an additional $20 a month.
