HP has released an official update for unlocked versions of the Palm Pre 2, bringing the webOS software up to version 2.1. The update adds two new features to the devices: Exhibition Mode for use with the Touchstone charging accessory, and Voice Dial for calling contacts via voice recognition. Exhibition Mode is currently supported by the Time, Photos, and Agenda apps and can be enabled by third-party applications as well. Voice Dial can be initiated by opening the application, holding a volume key, or by tapping and holding on the phone dial pad. The webOS 2.1 update also addresses some bugs and security issues in the platform. Head on over to the source link to see the full change log. Users of unlocked phones can go to the Updates app to download the new version if they have not received the notification already.source: HP Palm
