Today Acer announced the ICONIA TAB A100, a new tablet that runs on Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.
The ICONIA TAB A100 is a compact 7-inch WSVGA (1024x600) tablet that offers 3G network connectivity as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro-USB connectivity. The A100 features a 5MP rear-facing camera for photos and video as well as a user-facing 2MP camera for video chatting. For outputting content to an HDTV, the tablet comes with HDMI-out, which supports 1080p output and is backed by NVIDIA's Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor.
The Acer ICONIA Tab A100 is expected to be available in the United Kingdom at the end of April.
