According to sources speaking to Reuters, Nokia halted plans to finish developing its first MeeGo powered smartphone. Nokia has hoped that MeeGo, which it has worked on with Intel, will help it compete better against Apple and Android smartphones. However, it has yet to launch a device running that operating system. Reuters said it's still possible that Nokia may show an unfinished version of a MeeGo device during an analyst meeting on Friday or during Mobile World Congress next week.
