Tonight Sprint is planning to announce a new device called the Echo from Kyocera during a press event in New York City. The Wall Street Journal just discovered some details about the phone.

Apparently the Echo will offer two 3.5-inch touchscreen displays that "can be stacked side by side." Users can drag items, likely widgets and other apps, from one screen to another.

Sprint's CEO, Dan Hesse, will be at the event tonight with magician David Blaine. Hesse's expected to announce the Echo, although it's unclear when the phone will be officially available. We'll be in attendance live, so stay tuned for more information on the phone.
