News Corp. and Apple have reportedly decided to delay the launch of a new digital newspaper for the iPad called The Daily. "The app and the service work, it's just getting them to talk to each other that needs more time," a source told The Wall Street Journal. The delay should only last a few weeks, and not months, another source said. The Daily is a digital newspaper that's been a joint project between Apple and News Corp. Over 100 people have been hired to work on it, including well established journalists, and Apple hopes to use it as a model for its new subscription-based service.
