Huawei Ascend Android smartphone now available on MetroPCS

Today MetroPCS announced that it is now offering the Huawei Ascend, an Android smartphone. The Ascend runs the older Android 2.1 Eclair operating system, offers a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Ascend originally launched on Cricket Wireless in October. It's available from MetroPCS for $179.
