The Samsung Galaxy S (GT-i9000) is now Wi-Fi Direct certified, and it's the first smartphone to get that label. The Wi-Fi alliance published the Wi-Fi Direct certification on its website earlier this week noting that the device's features have successfully completed the Wi-Fi Alliance interoperability testing.
