U.S. Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets have no voice capabilities

During a press conference in New York City, Samsung announced that the U.S. versions of its Android 2.2 Froyo powered Galaxy Tab tablet will not offer voice capabilities. The European version of the device allows users to place voice calls with a speakerphone or headset, but it appears these feature were removed from the U.S. models.
