Verizon: Google search landing on Samsung Fascinate in Android 2.2 Froyo update

Verizon Wireless has said that its Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S Android smartphone, which launched with Microsoft's Bing search in place of Google search, will offer Google search when the phone receives its Android 2.2 Froyo update. Against rumors that Verizon Wireless was replacing Google search with Bing search on all of its Android phones, a Verizon spokesperson told LAPTOP Magazine, Bing will "not be the search engine on all of our phones in the future."
