AT&T BlackBerry 9800 listed for "pre-sale" from online retailer
Newsbrief by Todd Haselton on Wednesday July 28, 2010.
Online retailer MobileCity Online currently has the as-yet unannounced AT&T BlackBerry 9800 slider smartphone listed as being available for pre-sale, with images of the device. The phone is advertised with a no-contract price of $599.99, although MobileCity Online doesn't list a delivery date. We expect this phone to be announced during RIM's event next Tuesday, which we'll be attending.

Sorry, but that mobilecity BB9800 preorder thing is pure linkbait and nothing more.
They just take/steal images from the net, remove the watermarks, collect all the info about specs they find on the net and post it as a product preorder. Then tip sites like ours to write about it as if they already have the upcoming phone for pre-order.
To be sure - just check the images they use on BB9800 preorder page. They are the same images taken from one of the first BB slider leaks in China
I fell for their linkbait once too: http://www.unwiredview.com/2008/09/28/nokia-5800-tube-available-for-pre-order-unlocked-at-49999/

This never should have been posted. Todd misunderstood when I sent the link over to him as an FYI and thought I wanted it posted. Sorry, guys. Staska is totally right - this is pure linkbait from MobileCity Online.

So how accurate do you think the pricing is? $700?
