Made from recycled plastic bottles, Samsung's new eco-friendly handset includes a 5 star energy efficient charger and ships in packaging made from recycled paper. The phone sports an eco-friendly user interface theme that allows the user to quickly enter "eco-mode" to adjust screen brightness and backlight duration to limit power requirements.

Around back, the touchscreen equipped Blue Earth phone makes use of series of solar panels that allow it to get a charge without having to plug in. Pricing has not been announced but Samsung has stated that the Blue Earth will be available in Europe later this year.
