Along with Nokia's 2008 CES announcement of the N95 8GB smartphone for North America, we also spotted the manufacturer's N95 smartphone for North America (sometimes known as the N95-3) decked out in a new red paint scheme, which implies that Nokia can not only change the N95's memory, but can also add to its color palette.
This dual direction slider is a multimedia powerhouse. Packed with a large 2.6" 16M TFT QVGA display, built-in stereo speakers for music and video playback, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, and a GPS receiver, the N95 is a force to be reckoned with. For data, the N95 supports 3G HSDPA, WiFi 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth.
Nokia says that the red N95 will carry a retail price of US$599.99, before taxes, which is a drop of $100 from the current price. The company hopes that the red model will be available this quarter.
