Live Photos: Motorola's RAZR upgrade, the 3G MOTORAZR xx

Gallery by Michael Oryl on Friday August 04, 2006.

The Motorola MOTORAZR xx is a suped up version of the company's massively popular RAZR V3 handset. Boasting such upgrades as HSDPA 3G data, EDGE support for 3 GSM bands, Bluetooth A2DP stereo support, and a 1.3 megapixel camera, the MOTORAZR xx retains all of the good looks of the original handset while bring the specs completely up to date.

We had the chance to play around with the xx last night in New York, and as you can tell from these photos, it looks almost exactly like the original RAZR V3. And that isn't a bad thing.

The color and finish on the final retail version of the MOTORAZR xx are likely to change a bit from what you see in these photos, but the form factor and layout should be pretty much as you see here when the MOTORAZR xx starts shipping later this year.
