During CES last week I had a chance to meet up with RIM for some hands-on time with its BlackBerry Playbook. I liked the 7-inch size of the device, and it felt less cumbersome than some of the 10.1-inch tablets on the show floor. Its QNX operating system looked very fluid and reminded me of Palm's webOS operating system in the way you interact with running applications.

A worker at RIM's booth was able to give me a demo of how the device could be tethered with a BlackBerry to keep email, messages, and BBMs in sync. The full demo is included in a video below.
