Live CTIA Sony Ericsson W800 Photos
Gallery by Michael Oryl on Monday March 14, 2005.

Sony Ericsson W800One of the phones that I was most dying to see was the Sony Ericsson W800. After the great success that the other recent high-end Sony Ericsson phones have had, I really wanted to see what they would do to take things to the next level.
I was not disappointed. The W800 is a very high-profile phone. It looks great, feels great, and seemed to work great. There were some unfinished software issues, and the Sony Walkman music player was not complete, but the W800 really had tongues wagging - including mine.
Even the retail packaging was lust worthy. Though please note that the headphones in the photo of the package were not the actual headphones we'll see when the W800 hits the streets later this year. I did get a few photos of the new headphones, though only of the actual parts that will go in the user's ears - the rest of the headset design simply is not finished.
This could be a really huge seller for Sony Ericsson if they can get it to market on time. I'm dying to get one to review.
You'll find a large photo gallery of the Sony Ericsson W800 Walkman phone on the following pages.
