I couldn't force myself to post this as a news story. This is just absurd. Telecoms Korea is reporting that two people died in Korea this month so far while using or carrying a mobile phone.
Referring to one of the dead men, they state:
"The police doubts that he was killed by mobile phone induced lightning because his cell phone was in his pocket when he got struck by lightning."
Well, I think I might have found the missing connection! I'll wager that both people that were struck and killed by lightning were wearing pants with pockets. Pockets, the unknown threat that we have been tempting fate with for all of these years.
I'll start looking for a suitable place for my forthcoming Nobel Prize.
