Week in HD: HTC Hero, Samsung Reclaim, LG GD900, BlackBerry Curve 8520, Motorola i465 Clutch
Editor's Corner by Michael Oryl on Saturday August 08, 2009.
HTC Hero / T-Mobile G2 Touch
I was out of town last weekend, so this "Week in HD" post will actually cover two weeks. We don't want to just skip a week, because then you might miss out on Russell's nice video review of the HTC Hero (T-Mobile G2 Touch). Check out part 2 and part 3 as well. They can also be found in the written HTC Hero review, too.
We've had the Motorola i465 Clutch for quite some time, but just recently got around to shooting and posting the video of it. You'll find the i465 Clutch video here as well as in the written review.
We haven't posted the written review of it yet, but you can take a gander at Russell's video review of the transparent LG GD900 Crystal here. Don't forget part 2 and part 3, too. The GD900 features a large touchscreen and a transparent keypad that is also touch sensitive.
On Thursday I went into New York for a breakfast event thrown by Sprint as part of the launch of its new eco-friendly Samsung M560 Reclaim, which is made partly from corn. I've since shot a 2 part video tour of the Samsung Reclaim. Part 2 is here.
Most recently, however, I put together a video review of the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 for T-Mobile, as part of a forthcoming written review. Part 2 is located here. It's quite a nice device for the price, and it features an optical trackpad - a first for RIM.
That's it for me for now. Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
