Week in HD: HTC Hero, Samsung Jet, Sony Ericsson C905a, Samsung Highlight, BlackBerry Pearl Flip
Editor's Corner by Michael Oryl on Saturday July 18, 2009.
This past week was good for HD video fans on MobileBurn. We actually averaged over 1 video per day, having posted 8 for the week.
Up first was the Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, which we had been playing around with for a while. Not a new design, since it's been available on T-Mobile for a while, but a new shape for Verizon BlackBerry users, at least.
Next we posted the cool new Samsung T749 Highlight for T-Mobile USA. This phone looks very much like an Instinct, but comes in cooler colors and, of course, uses GSM and UMTS instead of CDMA. Both parts of the video can be viewed in our Samsung Highlight snapshot.
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot is a very nice high-end camera phone that is will be available from AT&T starting tomorrow (Sunday, July 19). You can check out some sample C905 Cyber-shot photos and both parts of the video in our story.

Lastly, just moments ago we put up our video unboxing of the Android-powered T-Mobile G2 Touch that is going to be available from T-Mobile UK soon. The same device will be offered by Orange as the HTC Hero. It is, by far, the hottest Android smartphone to date.
We have more videos planned for this week, including the Motorola i465 Clutch for Boost Mobile and Sprint Nextel, the LG LX290 for Sprint, and maybe even the Gigabyte GSmart MS820 Windows Mobile smartphone.
In the meantime, you can subscribe to the MobileBurn YouTube channel or add our YouTube video RSS feed to your news reader.
