What is "Evolved HSPA"?

Evolved HSPA (also known as HSPA Evolution, HSPA+, and eHSPA) is an upcoming suite of technologies that build upon the HSPA standards for data transmissions used by UMTS based 3G networks. Evolved HSPA is theoretically capable of downlink speeds as fast as 42Mbps and uplink speeds as high as 22Mbps.
