What is "PoC"?

PoC is a VOIP based PTT standard developed by the OMA. It allows for Push-To-Talk functionality over a data network, such as GPRS or 1xRTT. This is in contrast to the system used on Motorola's iDEN network which operates more like a one way traditional phone call.

Also known as: "Push-To-Talk Over Cellular"
