Our online glossary is here to help you make sense of the terminology used in the cell phone industry. It covers mobile technologies, such as 3G and 4G, and even includes a bit of information on smartphone operating systems and the companies that make the cell phones and other mobile technology devices we all use.
While a full QWERTY deck is a full keyboard as one would find on a PC, with each letter on a separate key, a half QWERTY keyboard puts two letters on a single key. The letter placement is the same aside from sharing a key with another, but the keyboard itself is narrower than a full QWERTY layout. Predictive text is a consistent tool provided with half QWERTY keyboards so users will not have to hit keys more than once.
