What is "BB OS"?

BlackBerry OS (BB OS) was BlackBerry?s own proprietary mobile operating system developed when the Canadian company was still known as Research in Motion (RIM). The platform was best known for its native support for the corporate communication environment, which allows complete wireless activation and synchronization of email, calendar, tasks, notes, and contacts.

When RIM became known as BlackBerry a new platform called BlackBerry 10 OS in 2013.
