HTC One M9 Up for Pre-Order in Europe
By Luke Jones on Wednesday March 04, 2015

I didn't hide my disappointment when I saw the HTC One M9 at the Mobile World Conference. It is a fantastic smartphone, as was the One M8, the problem is the M9 is just too much of the same and comes at a time when other companies (Samsung, LG, Xiaomi) are radically shaking up their flagship. HTC has now started selling its new flagship in Europe and if like me you are disappointed with the M9, you will probably be disappointed with the price of it too.

Verizon HTC One M8 Gets Android 5.0 Lollipop
By Luke Jones on Wednesday March 04, 2015

Verizon will undoubtedly be carrying the HTC One M9, but Big Red, the largest carrier in the US, is still showing some love to the now older HTC One M8. The Verizon variant of the smartphone is now getting its update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. HTC kept to its promise of launching 5.0 Lollipop to the One M8 within three months of its launch, but carriers always take a little longer sending out the software.

HTC One M9: First Impressions
By Luke Jones on Sunday March 01, 2015

HTC has launched the One M9, the company's newest flagship smartphone. The Taiwanese company announced the handset at the Mobile World Conference here in Barcelona, but unfortunately it is not good news for those clamouring after something new and fresh. New is a fair description of the One M9 actually, but fresh most definitely is not as this is nothing more than an updated One M8, for all the good and bad that brings.

HTC Launched Grip Wearable
By Luke Jones on Sunday March 01, 2015

HTC postponed its smartwatch plans last year, and it seems the company is continuing to wait it out in launching a true smart wearable. Instead, the Taiwanese brand used its MWC event to announce its first wearable, a fitness tracker. HTC has been rumored for a couple of months to be launching a wearable at the expo in Barcelona and the company's recent deal with Under Armour suggested a fitness tracker would be the product launched.

HTC One M7 Gets Android Lollipop in Europe
By Luke Jones on Wednesday February 25, 2015

HTC's aging One M7 is starting to get its upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop, at least if you have the unlocked and Developer Edition version. Now, users of the handset rocking the European version will also be treated to the latest and greatest on their One M7, a smartphone that is now nearly two years old.

HTC Prepping High End Butterfly 3
By Luke Jones on Wednesday February 18, 2015

HTC's upcoming One M9 flagship is grabbing all the headlines at the moment, but the Taiwanese company has plenty of other smartphones in the works too, such as a new Butterfly. While the One series is the bona fide flagship from HTC, the Butterfly devices have proved to be competent attempts at high end smartphones themselves. The company is now planning the Butterfly 3 according to tipster @Upleaks.

HTC Desire 626 Bound for US with Sprint
By admin on Monday February 16, 2015

HTC's Desire 626 was announced in Taiwan last week as a competitor to the slew of entry level devices released by big brands over the last year. It comes with familiar specs for this level of the market, but also packs HTC's pleasing design language. One piece of the puzzle was left unsolved when the 626 launched, if it would be available beyond HTC's Taiwan homeland.

HTC Zoe Update Adds Nexus 6 and Nexus 9
By admin on Friday February 13, 2015

HTC's Zoe app is one of the better photo oriented features out there, and the company offers it in its One M8 and One M7 smartphones. However, Zoe also made its way to the Google Play Store as a dedicated application that can be downloaded by Android users on other handsets. Not all devices are compatible though, but a new update has given Zoe functionality to two more high flying smartphones.

HTC Petra Smartwatch for iOS and Android... No Android Wear
By Luke Jones on Thursday February 12, 2015

HTC has been perhaps the most interesting company to follow in terms of wearables. The company is in a will it, won't it situation, delaying its smartwatch last year but now likely to announce it alongside the One M9 smartphone flagship at MWC next month. However, it seems as though HTC will have one more surprise up its sleeve and will make its smartwatch cross platform.
