Motorola has launched a number of fine smartphones over the last couple of years, the Moto X and Moto G spring to mind, as does the budget oriented Moto E. However, the company has not released a device in China for some time, ignoring one of the biggest and most important markets with its Moto smartphones. However, Motorola is now ready to re-enter the Chinese market and will be bringing some "exciting devices".

Motorola is one of the company's that paved the way for the current interest in the budget market, while the number of emerging markets moving into middle class incomes has also played a part. Motorola's Moto G and Moto E handsets are still among the best low end efforts on the market, although I feel a bit cheeky calling them low end due to their quality.

When Motorola and Verizon launched the DROID Turbo a couple of weeks ago we were given one of the best current smartphones, a high end flagship tour de force. Motorola improved the situation when the company announced the Moto Maxx last week, an international version of the DROID Turbo.

So it has proved as the company is now sending the Android 5.0 soak test for the Moto X (2014) Pure Edition.
