Vodafone Lists Unannounced LG G4 Mini

After LG launched the G3 flagship last year the company built a whole portfolio of smartphones based off the handset. With the G4 replacement now launched it seems the Korean company has similar plans for its brand new flag waver. A new listing on Vodafone Hungary showed that a LG G4 Mini is in the works, nestled in amongst the carriers other mid-range devices.

We have discussed before how Sony's camera lens making business is thriving in the mobile space, and in fact is propping up the ailing Xperia brand. Sony is not the only major manufacturer enjoying success beyond its handsets though, with market research firm DisplaySearch saying 68% of all smartphones shipped in the first quarter of 2015 had a LG screen on the front.

Windows Phone seems to be in a rut at the moment. Microsoft's mobile operating system is not growing, keeping a solid base in emerging markets but simply not catching Android or iOS. Windows 10 could help to change that, but Microsoft needs more major manufacturers to get behind the platform.
