LG G4 Pro Specs Revealed

LG has already confirmed that it will launch another flagship smartphone in 2015, one that will sit alongside the G4 as a large screen alternative. That is thought to be the G Pro 3, or the G4 Pro is LG wants to capitalize on its flagship range more. We know the handset will land sometime late in the third quarter, and here are some of the specs we can expect to see.

LG G3 Skipping Android 5.1 and Moving Straight to Android M

If you had the LG G3 from launch, you may remember that the handset did not move past Android 4.4.2 KitKat while other rival flagships went to 4.4.3 or 4.4.4. Instead the G3 waited over six months before making the jump straight to Android Lollipop, and it seems LG will be doing the same with the handset this year.

Sprint Now Selling LG G Stylo

Sprint has announced that it will start carrying the LG G Stylo (of G4 Stylus in other markets), a large handset that comes with a stylus. The third largest carrier in the United States will offer the device for $288 off contract, or for $49.99 on a two year commitment. The other payment option is 24 monthly payments $12 with Sprint Easy Pay.

T-Mobile LG G3 Getting Android 5.0 Lollipop This Month

T-Mobile is finally updating its version of the LG G3 to Android 5.0 Lollipop, much later than other carriers and international variants. Considering Lollipop launched back last November and until recently the G3 was LG's main flagship handset, it has been tardy to say the least by T-Mobile. At least now consumers with the G3 on the Magenta Network are finally getting Android 5.0.

LG and Verizon Announce G Pad X 8.3

LG and Verizon Wireless announced a new slate today in the form of the LG G Pad X 8.3, a true successor to 2013?s original G Pad 8.3. As well as announcing the tablet, Verizon also revealed that it will begin selling LG's new G4 flagship smartphone on June 4, tying up with previous reports for the handsets' launch.

Unknown LG Smartphone Found in Android Code... New Nexus?

We revealed last week that LG is back in the picture in terms of Nexus smartphones as the company is building the next device in the series, replacing Nexus 6 maker Motorola. It seems that LG is indeed involved in a new Nexus smartphone, with an Android Open Source Project code revealing an unknown LG made handset with the codename Bullhead.

LG G4 Debuting with T-Mobile Tomorrow (Online Only)

If you have been readying yourself for the LG G4 to drop in the United States your wait is almost over. The new flagship smartphone will be making its debut on T-Mobile tomorrow (Wednesday, 27th May), making the Magenta Network the first U.S. carrier to offer the handset. Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T customers will have to wait a little longer, and even those wanting to buy in T-Mobile locations will have to wait until June 3rd.

The LG G4 is a fantastic smartphone, one of the best available in fact. However, LG claimed it would be a radical change from last year's G3 and we simply do not think that it is. The company though is going to have another stab at the flagship market later in the year, so maybe that will be the completely different smartphone we were promised.

LG Lancet, Windows Phone Coming to Verizon Today

We have heard rumors for several months that LG is returning to the Windows Phone fold after a considerable absence. The Korean company is ready to give the platform another chance just before Microsoft transitions from Windows Phone 8 to Windows 10.
