The Employee Edition is the variant of the handset that is given to Verizon employees, the largest carrier in the United States offers the DROID Turbo 2 exclusively.

We have heard plenty about the HTC One X9, a smartphone that is expected to be a mid-range effort from the struggling Taiwanese company. The handset was certified by TENAA last month so we know its launch is imminent and now there are some leaked images of the device.

HTC is one of the only major mobile brands that has not released a wearable yet, despite a smartwatch from the company oft mooted. Indeed, it is widely known that HTC was actually on the brink of launching its first smartwatch two years ago but cancelled the product as the company did not see huge growth in wearables. The European variant of the HTC One M8 is going to be receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the next two weeks according to ROM developer @LlabTooFeR, a source with a hugely credible track record. The 2014 flagship will also be getting something on top in the form of HTC's Sense 7.0 UI, which has so far been reserved to handsets the company has launched in 2015.
